FOR BANGKOK (NON-THAI NATIONALS)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Foreigners in the UK and Ireland wishing to go to Thailand can check if they meet the requirements here.
QUARANTINE REQUIREMENTS
All passengers from the UK or Ireland, must quarantine for 14 days/15 nights.
Passengers must book their stay at Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) hotels, at their own expense, for the quarantine period. For the list of ASQ booking, please click here.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Foreigners in the UK and Ireland who meet the above requirements can apply for the Certificate of Entry (COE) through the online application system at https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/. Please allow at least 7 days for the Embassy to process your application.
Each passenger must register and apply individually. Parents can apply for their children.
COE Application process:
– Register and fill in your personal details, and upload supporting documents. The Embassy will screen and pre-approve the applicants who meet the requirements.
– Check the status of the application online after 1-3 working days and whether it has been pre-approved. Passengers will be contacted by email if the Embassy requires further documents. Applicants who are pre-approved can then purchase their flight tickets and book their ASQ hotels. Copy of the ticket and the ASQ hotel booking confirmation must be uploaded to get the COE (please check the status of your application after 1-3 working days).
– Once the COE has been approved, applicants can download their COE.
TESTING REQUIREMENTS
A COVID-19 test with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected (COVID test must be by RT-PCR method), issued within 72 hours before departure is required from non-Thai nationals.
DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS
Please note the documents below must be presented to the airline and the Thai authorities.
- Valid visa or re-entry permit, except visitors under the 45-day visa exemption scheme
- The Certificate of Entry (COE)
- Declaration form
- COVID test by RT-PCR method with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected, issued within 72 hours before departure
- Copy of insurance policy which covers COVID and no less than 100,000 USD – please print the insurance certificate and all pages of the terms and conditions on the COVID coverage and medical benefits (passengers may be refused boarding if they can not show that their insurance meets these requirements)
- Copy of a confirmed ASQ hotel booking (or AHQ and permission from the Ministry of Public Health in case of medical treatment)
- T8 Form
