Covid Update
In June 2022, Civil Aviation Thailand announced to make it mandatory for travellers to wear face masks while
travelling as COVID 19 restrictions are being lifted in Thailand. It was a great initiative by the Thailand government, which has created a lot of conveniences for travellers and stakeholders and will revitalize tourism in Thailand. Wearing a mask outside or in crowded places is now voluntary. But travellers and people living in closed spaces must use masks that work in shopping malls. In enclosed spaces, maintain a safe distance from one another to reduce the risk of disease transmission. Being outdoors is possible without wearing a mask.
Vaccinated people can now enter Thailand without undergoing a test. There is no restriction if they must have a vaccination certificate. If you have a cold or cough, you should get a rapid antigen test to ensure you are not suffering from this disease. Visitors who have not yet received their vaccinations or finished the required training must present a negative test result 72 hours before entering the country. Airlines are instructed to check the vaccination documents so that every person can be verified. Airlines must oblige people to attach this certificate with their papers so that efforts will be made to control the disease.
